OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES – What will you do at Milden?

Walk on the farm:
As keen conservationists and historians we take great pride in managing our 500 acre arable farm, happy pigs and bantams, our wildlife habitats and archaeological sites as carefully as possible.

Our family spend hours armed for tree planting, pond dipping and late night mothing.

Cyclists

Back in Germany , we still talk about the wonderful stay at Milden Hall - thank you very much once again! Our cycling holiday in East Anglia has been one of the best holidays we had, thanks to the lovely people we met and to the nice places we have been.

Art group painting stay

A big thank you for Hartley Art Group. Everyone had a wonderful time and they have asked if we can book to come again!

What can you do beyond Milden?

Sight-seeing:
Most large groups split up a little during the day and go off to do their own thing:

We loved coming back to your beautiful home. It is a very peaceful place for us and such a contrast to busy “work life”. I value the peace and quiet and fantastic space … and still having great facilities nearby (if needed).

I think Jack just enjoys the adventure and loves finding things to do and exploring … he likes the freedom to roam … he is pretty content. Becky loved the chickens (especially wobbly), pigs and mud. Francesca enjoyed herself discovering life outdoors. Kerry, like me, enjoyed the whole experience. I'm so impressed with your energy and enthusiasm ... hope to come back in July ...
Jim Lane, April 2006 after second visit

Ask us for a list of local golf courses – several nearby.
