Milden Hall barn – Conferences, training, film
location, music camps
Built
in the late 16th century, Milden Hall barn and garden provide a beautiful
tucked away rural location on an environmentally friendly farm for those
who want a conference or training venue that has real character and
something a little different.
“Milden Hall preserves one of the finest 17th century
farmyards in the country” (Leigh Alston, Timber-framed building
expert 2003)
The
aisled barn has been used for seminars, training days, corporate lunches,
team-building days, art society weekends, wedding receptions, fashion
shows, TV commercials, film location, school environmental days and
nativity plays! The Hall (left) is used for small group training days
and breakfast meetings.
The
large garden (right) with roses, honeysuckle, lavender and copper beech,
tulip and Judas trees provides a beautiful place for a wander at lunch-time
and tea breaks, or even lunch on a sunny day.
Catering can be provided in-house or you may use your own caterers
and our kitchen facilities.
Charges for the hire of barn and garden are negotiable but always include:
- Hire of barn, garden, lavatories and car parking for up to 150
guests.
- Use of all barn furniture ie oak and trestle tables, benches and
chairs.
- Use of conference equipment and PA system
